BE NICE License Plate Campaign Comes to an End

Published January 25, 2017

Despite the best efforts of the WCS community, the Williamson County Schools BE NICE license plate campaign has come to an end shy of the 1,000 state-required pre-orders needed to begin printing the plate.

Money will be refunded for Williamson County Schools supporters who pre-ordered a BE NICE license plate, and they can expect an email from the Kenrose PTO.

“Williamson County Schools would like to thank all the wonderful parents who worked so hard to make this happen,” WCS Communications Director Carol Birdsong said. “We will continue to spread the BE NICE message in other ways and possibly try another way to share the message on vehicles.”

The idea to have the BE NICE message spread across the state in the form of license plates was the brainchild of Kenrose parent Vojin Janjic. Janjic came up with the idea and then fellow Kenrose parent and PTO member Carla Green championed the initiative through the state legislature.
