Academic All-Star – Page Middle

Published March 29, 2017

The Academic All-Star award is given to students who exhibit a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence in the classroom. Each Academic All-Star is chosen by his or her principal and receives a framed certificate, free food from Chick-fil-A and Sonic Drive-In and a free gift courtesy of Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More in Franklin.

Page Middle School is proud to announce that eighth grader Alex Lychowski is this year’s Academic All-Star.

“Alex is a very hard worker,” said Page Middle Assistant Principal Clarissa Haymon. “He never shies away from a challenge nor does he give up when something is difficult. He pushes through academic adversity with a positive attitude and a smile.”

Alex credits his teachers with much of his success saying they take the time to assist him when he needs help. His favorite subjects are math and science which makes sense considering Alex wants to be an engineer when he grows up.

Alex is a well-rounded individual who enjoys athletics and the arts. In addition to playing baritone saxophone for the Page Middle Band, Alex also plays baseball.

While some eighth graders may be nervous about making the jump to high school, Alex says he’s ready for the next challenge. And judging by his work ethic and pleasant demeanor, Alex’s teachers say he is sure to do great at the next level.

“Alex has never been anything but kind, respectful and helpful,” said Haymon. “He puts his best effort into all activities. We are so pleased to celebrate Alex as Page Middle’s Academic All-Star.”
