WCS Unveils One-Stop-Shop for Social Media

Don’t miss out on a single tweet, post or video with the district’s new Social Media Wall!

WCS launched the feature on its website August 6, giving parents, students, staff and community members an exciting and convenient way to stay on top of the district’s social networks which include Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

“Our Social Media Wall is a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants to stay on top of the latest WCS news,” said Assistant Communications Director Cory Mason. “It allows us to have every post, tweet and video in one spot so our visitors can engage with more of our social content without having to leave our website.”

Visitors can even sort the content by social network. It’s just another way the district hopes to connect with stakeholders.

“Whether you’re a Fortune 500 company or a public school district, social media is an essential form of communication,” said Mason. “We believe this feature will give parents and students an efficient and unique way to keep up with the latest happenings in our district.”
