Published April 28, 2016
WCS students are coming off another impressive showing at the Midsouth Student Television Production Awards, winning first place in 11 of the 15 categories.
The ceremony was held April 27 in Nashville and hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the same organization that produces the Emmy awards.
The number of nominations in each category is based on scores voted by judging panels, which are scored on the same criteria as the professional Emmy Awards – content, creativity and execution. Nominees included schools from Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina.
