WCS Student Artwork Selected for MTRSAE

Numerous talented student artists from three Williamson County high schools have earned spots in the eighth annual Middle Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition.
The awards reception will be held February 25 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The awards ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Awards include Best-of-Show Purchase Award, which will received a $500 reward. Additionally, the artwork will become a permanent part of the collection of author James Dodson, on loan to the Knoxville Museum of Art’s Education Collection until needed for other exhibitions held by the Tennessee Art Education Association.
All other best-of categories include a $50 reward. These pieces of art will remain with Belmont University’s Department of Art until the Tennessee’s Best of the Best Student Art Exhibition in the summer, dates to be announced closer to the date.
Awards will also be given out for first, second and third place, as well as honorable mentions, in each grade level.
