WCS Marching Bands Wow at Annual Band Exhibition

“Students and teachers put in many hours beginning in the heat of the summer to create these shows,” said WCS Fine Arts Specialist Melissa Dufrechou. “The exhibition offers our middle school and high school students the opportunity to showcase their talents across the district in an event that focuses on building community and music education.”

Students from eight high schools including Brentwood, Centennial, Fairview, Franklin, Independence, Page, Ravenwood and Summit each performed a preview of their halftime and competition shows for this fall season.

In addition, all WCS middle school bands participated in this year’s exhibition and performed together with the eight high school bands to conclude the evening.
