WCS College Fair September 24

Published August 28, 2015

Where can a student go to speak with representatives from hundreds of colleges and universities all in one place? That’s easy – the WCS College Fair!

The Williamson County school counselors will host this year’s event Thursday, September 24 from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin.

Admissions officers from colleges, universities and post-secondary training institutes from across the nation will be available to meet with students and parents to answer questions regarding admissions, programs of study, financial aid, cost, etc.

Those interested in pursuing military careers will also have the opportunity to speak with recruitment officers representing the various branches of the military.

Students can pre-register for the event by visiting gotocollegefairs.com. This new resource allows students who register online to create a profile and print a barcode to bring to the fair. College representatives can quickly collect their information by using a scanning device, eliminating the need for students to complete prospect cards at each college table.

Online registration is not required for attendance at the fair, and some college and university representatives may not be equipped to register students via the barcode.

All high school students are invited to attend. For additional information, contact WCS Counseling Specialist Pam Lankford at pamelal@wcs.edu.
