WCS Basketball District Tournament Results

It was an exciting weekend of basketball at Brentwood High for the District 11 Basketball Championships, with the Independence boys winning the program’s first district title against Franklin and the Ravenwood Lady Raptors finishing a close second to Dickson County.
Both the boys and the girls Region 6-AAA tournament will take place at Cane Ridge High School in Nashville beginning February 26.
Girls Region Tournament:
Friday, February 26 – Girls Quarterfinals
Game 2: Summit (#3) vs. Antioch (#2) at 5 p.m.
Game 3: Franklin (#4) vs. Cane Ridge (#1) at 6:30 p.m.
Game 4: Ravenwood (#2) vs. Hunters Lane (#3) at 8 p.m.
Monday, February 29 – Girls Semifinals
Winner of Game 1 (Dickson County vs. Glencliff) vs. Winner of Game #2 at 6 p.m.
Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game #4 at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 2 – Girls Championship at 7 p.m.

Saturday, February 27 – Boys Quarterfinals
Game 5: Independence (#1) vs. McGavock (#4) at 3:30 p.m.
Game 6: Centennial (#3) vs. Cane Ridge (#2) at 5 p.m.
Game 8: Franklin (#2) vs. Hillwood (#3) at 8 p.m.
Tuesday, March 1 – Boys Semifinals

Thursday, March 3 – Boys Championship at 7 p.m.
