Voter Registration Drive to Begin Next Week

Beginning next week, the Williamson County Election Commission will be visiting local high schools to help eligible students register to vote.
As part of the effort, U.S. Government and Civics students have been working to create posters, edit PSA’s and hand out stickers encouraging their fellow students to take advantage of this opportunity and register to vote.
Part of the idea behind getting students involved in the voter registration drive is to have them explore the public policy issue of low voter turnout in Tennessee, in particular among the youth.
Below is a list of dates when the Election Commission will be visiting.
Voter Registration Dates
April 12 – Ravenwood High from noon until 1 p.m.
April 13 – Brentwood High from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
April 14 – Independence High from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
April 18 – Franklin High from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m.
April 18 – Centennial High from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
April 19 – Fairview High from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
April 20 – Renaissance High from 11:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
April 20 – Page High from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
April 21 – Summit High from 11 a.m. until noon
