Rumor Mill – March 11, 2016

The purpose of this section is to answer any questions parents, teachers or community members might have regarding the school district and to set the record straight in regards to any rumors that might be circulating.

If you have a question or have heard a rumor that you would like for us to address, simply SEND US your questions and we will respond to them in upcoming issues of InFocus. Below are some of the questions we have received since our last issue.

I heard that WCS is considering letting school out early again this year since we have not used all of our snow days. Is this true?

At this time, the final day of school for students will be a half day on May 20. Should there be any changes, we will notify parents via the InFocus newsletter, as well as on our website, Twitter and Facebook.

Will all elementary schools have the pre-kindergarten program for the 2016-17 school year?

No. Pre-K class locations are determined each year by the needs of the district as well as space availability within the schools.
