Parents, students and community members are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremonies for Williamson County’s three newest schools. The events will be held Sunday, July 24.
School and county leaders will start at Mill Creek Elementary School. The facility is located at 100 York Trail in Nolensville. Doors to Mill Creek Elementary will open at approximately 1:45 p.m. with the ceremony scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. To observe the ribbon cutting, you must enter through the main entrance in the front of the building. The ceremony will be held in the commons area.
The Mill Creek Middle ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in the gymnasium. To participate, please enter through the doors closest to the gym. Those doors will open at approximately 2:30 p.m. with the ceremony starting at 2:45 p.m.
The Nolensville High ribbon cutting will take place in the performing arts center. That entrance and parking is located in the back of the building at 1600 Summerlyn Drive. Those doors will open at 3:10 p.m. with the ribbon cutting set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
All other entrances to the buildings will be closed until after each ribbon cutting ceremony is complete. Once each ceremony has ended, tours of that building will be available.
