Nolensville High Mascot Announced

Make way for the Nolensville Knights! Nolensville High Principal Bill Harlin revealed the school’s mascot to students August 2.
The process of naming a mascot took three weeks and included community input via social media and input boxes at local establishments in Nolensville.
“After that process, I met with panels of sophomores and freshmen to look at the most popular names among the list,” said Harlin. “Students from Sunset Middle and Ravenwood High who will make up the first classes at Nolensville cast the final vote for the mascot last week.”
Not only does the naming of a mascot bring the school one step closer to next fall, but it also brings one more sense of community to the Nolensville area.
“Now the fun part begins as we look at the design of school logos which will be on team apparel, basketball courts, football fields and other athletic venues,” said Harlin. “I think the mascot fits really well with our choice of black, silver and royal blue as the NHS school colors. The mascot choice is also unique to the rest of the district. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with what emerged as the community and student choice.”
