Moooove It Forward at the Fairview Nature Fest

Published September 11, 2015

WCS School Board member Ken Peterson would like to challenge the Fairview community to not only attend the annual Fairview Nature Fest this Saturday, September 12 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. but to help us Feed Our COWs.

Peterson is challenging the community to Moooove it Forward by assisting in raising funds to help feed more COWs since two Fairview elementary schools received a generous donation from Williamson County business leaders last month.

“I want the Williamson County business community and donors to know that we appreciate their support so much with the donation of $20,000 for our elementary schools,” said Peterson. “We want to Pay it Forward so we can show that Fairview wants to be a part of these fundraising efforts. All of our schools need these benefits and we want to assist in supporting them based on the incredible support we received.”

All guests of the Nature Fest are challenged to help Feed Our Cows and donate. For donating, guests will receive two cookies, one for them and one to give.

The Nature Fest will take place at Bowie Nature Park, located at 7211 Bowie Lake Road in Fairview. Activities include music, hayrides, a history village, contests and much more.
