Hillsboro Receives Two Fully Fed COWs
Published February 12, 2016
Hillsboro School has something to moo about! On February 8, the Hillsboro Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) presented the school with a check for $17,400 to go toward two fully-fed COWs.
Each COW, which stands for Computers on Wheels, includes 30 Chromebooks which will be used for classroom instruction. The check presentation took place during halftime of the boys varsity basketball game.
Also during the halftime festivities, Principal Justice joined School Board Member Rick Wimberly and members of the PTO in taking the WCS Milk Challenge. They encouraged Hillsboro families to donate to the Feed Our COWs campaign and help fund the first ever middle school iMac Media Lab.
