Construction Update – Mill Creek Campus
Published August 20, 2015
Work is progressing nicely at the site of Williamson County’s three newest schools.
Mill Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and Nolensville High all share a campus in Nolensville. The three schools will open in August 2016 with Mill Creek Elementary serving students in grades K-5, Mill Creek Middle serving students in grades 6-8 and Nolensville High serving students in grades 9-10 in its first year.
While they are two separate schools, Mill Creek Elementary and Mill Creek Middle will be housed within the same building similar to Sunset Elementary and Sunset Middle schools.
From a building standpoint at the Mill Creek Campus, the building concrete is near completion; the concrete masonry is complete; and the brick veneer is complete on the north and west sides of the building.
Stairs for the structure are being built as they arrive on site, and metal wall studs are being constructed throughout the building. With all studs, come door frames which are being installed for all interior doors.
On the athletic side of things, fill material is being removed for the soccer/football practice field, and storm drainage is 100 percent complete and in service.
