Connors Restaurant Donates to Feed Our COWs

Published February 24, 2016

They’re used to feeding hungry patrons, but Connors Steak & Seafood is now feeding COWs.

The Knoxville-based restaurant chain, which recently opened a CoolSprings Galleria location, presented Williamson County Schools with a $5,000 check February 24 for the district’s Feed the COWs (Computers on Wheels) campaign.

“We wanted this money to go straight to the COW program,” said Connors Managing Partner Matt Williams. “The long term benefit of kids having exposure to computers at a young age can have an exponential impact on their future.”

A fully equipped COW includes 30 laptops and charging cables on a mobile cart which can easily be moved from one classroom to another. The goal of the program is to provide one or more for each WCS elementary school, middle school and new Nolensville schools.
