BE NICE, Williamson County

Published September 18, 2015

Have you heard the news? September is officially BE NICE month in Williamson County.

Mayors from all municipalities declared September BE NICE month, culminating with Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson’s reading of a proclamation at the September 14 Board of Commissioners Meeting.

“Williamson County has a tradition of southern hospitality and values the culture of kindness that was born out of the BE NICE movement,” read Anderson. “Williamson County can serve as an example of what other counties can aspire to be through individuals simply being nice, doing good and by giving where there is a need.”

BE NICE 2.0, as it’s being called, officially kicked off June 3 when student ambassadors and faculty from each school gathered together for the BE NICE Leadership Conference. They spent the day getting to know one another and learning new ways to spread the BE NICE message.
