Battle of the Books Champion Crowned

Woodland Middle School is the champion of this year’s Battle of the Books competition. Teams from all nine middle schools took part in the contest which was held March 8 in Brentwood.

The purpose of the Battle of the Books program is to promote a life-long love of reading among students. The contest encourages students to read a variety of books and remember information about the plots, character and settings.

The Woodland Middle School Battle of the Books team was led by captain Alexis Enderle. Team members include Regan Enderle, Karina Sheth, Hannah French, Gavin Blanchette and Kayla Jordan. The team was sponsored by Mrs. Lindsey Anderson.
