WCS Students Dominate TV Production Awards

WCS students dominated this year’s Midsouth Student Television Production Awards, winning 10 of the 15 categories.
The ceremony was held April 23 in Nashville and hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the same organization that produces the Emmy awards.
The number of nominations in each category is based on scores voted by judging panels, which are scored on the same criteria as the professional Emmy Awards – content, creativity and execution.
WCS students won first place in the following categories:
Newscast
Franklin in 5, Franklin High School: Christian Whittemore, McKenna Martin, Michael Castellon and Connor Adams. Advisor: Keri Thompson
Arts & Entertainment
