WCS National Merit Commended Students

WCS is proud to announce the following students as National Merit Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program. In addition to the 16,000 semifinalists, 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million entrants in the National Merit Program. Students entered the competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Brentwood High: Avery Arons, Anna Cowan, Julia Dickenson, Dylan Douglas, Waqqas Fazili, Jacob Henry, Alexander Mayhugh, Katelyn McCroskey, Lisa Qu, Abigayle Rickman and Abraham Westbrook.

Centennial High: Amelia Edwards, Will Henke, Emily McCabe, Alexander Solomon and Andrew Webster.

Fairview High: Katie Conlan and Joe Reed.

Franklin High: Joseph Biagini, Taylor Black, Caleb Carney, Sheridan Carty, Julia Cohen, Lillian Moore and Hayley Rutchow.

Independence High: Emma Lowry and Claudia Santiago.

Page High: Carter Burton, Rhett Erisman, Michael Lee, Raquel Miralles and Jonathan Stegmann.

Ravenwood High: Jeanette Albertson, Zachary Allegra, McKenzie Atwood, Hannah Belcher, Samuel Belcher, Christopher DiPede, Natalie Hopkins, Meredith Lutzak, Rhea Manohar, Heather McParland, Jeong Hyun Nam, Jacob Overton, Ethan Riley and Rohan Tummala.
