Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer at school? We have a unique opportunity available through our Destination Imagination teams. There are two HBES teams. Sarah LaFon and Steve McIntyre have volunteered to be the managers. In the event that we do not get appraisers, the teams will not be able to compete in the tournaments. If you can help, please reach out to Linda McWhorter at lindam@wcs.edu. It can be anyone. Your child does not have to be on a team. It can be a grandparent, friend or family. You may wonder why the parents of the kids participating aren’t appraisers, but if the parents of the team are appraisers then they cannot watch their child compete so this is why there is a need for your help. January 27 is HBES night at Supercuts. A good looking way to support your school! All Pro Dads Breakfast is January 30 at 7 a.m. in the school cafeteria. In yearbook news, fifth grade recognition ads are available for the first time this year. It is very easy to design and create your very own recognition ad to celebrate all of the amazing achievements. Ads cost $25 each. We have a limited number of ad spots available so please be sure to order as soon as possible. When we reach our limit the ad link will be closed. All ads have to be designed and paid for by February 15. If you are interested, please order your ad as soon as possible. Please contact Stefanie Gorman at Stefanie.gorman@wcs.edu for more information. Kindergarten Registration for the 2015-2016 school year will be March 23-27 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day. We will also be open March 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Box Top Drive is underway from now until February 13. Please send your box tops to the homeroom teacher. Thank you for helping support our school through the box top drive. We appreciate your efforts.
