Parenting Playbook

Published October 10, 2014

Back by popular demand! Williamson County Schools is proud to re-introduce Parenting Playbook, starring former NFL player and current WCS parent Freddie Scott, II.

The former Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver teamed up with the WCS Communications Department in 2013 to produce a series of videos aimed at helping parents become more involved in their child’s education.

In addition to his time spent as a player in the NFL, Scott has served as a national spokesperson for Tony Dungy’s All Pro Dad organization and currently works as a transition coach for the NFL. He travels the nation sharing practical keys to success in the areas of family, character development, leadership and conflict resolution.

“I was truly excited when the opportunity presented itself to support the students and families of Williamson County Schools,” said Scott. “I’m hopeful that we will see more parents equipped to do the little things that truly make a big difference in the lives of those we love…our children.”
