Apply Now for Summer Student Internships

WCS high school students can now apply for the Summer Internship Program through the Williamson County Chamber.

The Summer Internship Program is a short-term learning and employment opportunity for Williamson County students. This program provides students an opportunity to study a program directly related to his or her career interest and participate in a workplace setting by performing duties related to the occupation being studied.

Eligible participants must be enrolled in a WCS high school, must be 16 years of age or older and have the ability to provide their own transportation to the work site.

Applicants may submit competed applications by email to WCS Career Counselor Rebecca Collins. All application materials are due by 4 p.m. on May 15. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by May 29.

Students can also apply for the Nashville Technology Council’s IT Job Shadowing Program. Students who are accepted will spend five hours each Thursday during the months of June and July at BNY Mellon.

BNY Mellon provides subject matter experts from various areas of their business and other job shadow opportunities.

There is no cost to students nor do they need to have a particular interest in any career field to participate.
