Academic All-Star – Fairview Elementary

At only eight years of age, Fairview Elementary’s Allen Reynolds is one of the youngest Williamson County students to be selected as an Academic All-Star.

Teachers and administrators say the third grader is a well-rounded young man who works hard, cooperates with others and always has a smile on his face.

“Allen displays all of our keys of excellence all the time,” said Principal Brent Oakley. “He has a positive attitude, and he encourages others to be their best.”

Teachers say Allen, who enjoys playing football, basketball, soccer and baseball, is skilled at balancing his time between school, friends and athletics. Allen’s football team even came in third at the Battle in Rocky Top youth football tournament which featured teams from across the nation.

Allen says his love for football even motivates him to do well in school.

“I want to be a football player when I grow up,” said Allen. “I want to get a good education so I can continue to play football.”
