Academic All-Star – Bethesda Elementary

She’s only nine-years-old but Hannah Gilreath is already making a name for herself at Bethesda Elementary where she was chosen as the school’s Academic All-Star for the 2014-15 school year.

Teachers and administrators say Hannah is a hard-working student who treats teachers and students with respect.

Having attended Bethesda since kindergarten, Hannah says the teachers are amazing. She especially enjoys learning about science and working in groups with other students. In her free time, Hannah likes to play sports like soccer or basketball and play with her brother and sister.

As for the future, Hannah plans to keep her nose to the grindstone so she can fulfill her goal of bringing smiles to children everywhere.

“School is important to me because I want to get good grades and go on to middle school,” said Hannah. “When I grow up I want to be a dentist for children. I just think I’d like it, and I like kids.”
