WCS Welcomes Ambassador Class of 2014

Williamson County Schools kicked off the second year of its Ambassador Program January 23. The purpose of this program is to create a corps of partners driven to strengthen our school district to benefit the Williamson County community.

Community leaders from industry, non-profits and government have signed on to participate in a comprehensive five month program to build bridges that complement the classroom and the boardroom.

The first meeting featured a trip to Centennial and Franklin high schools where ambassadors visited classrooms and spoke to students and teachers. The ambassadors will continue to meet on a monthly basis.
