WCS Students Participate in 4-H Speech Contest

Dozens of Williamson County students took part in this year's Williamson County 4-H Public Speaking Contest. The competition is open to 4-H students in grades 4-12 who qualify by earning a blue ribbon in their local clubs.
More than 150 students participated in the January 25 event at Franklin High School. Those students were broken up into six classrooms. The top five students in each class received awards, with the first and second place finishers qualifying for the Williamson County Speak-Off on January 28.
The students who received first and second place awards at the Speak-Off will represent Williamson County in the area contest February 24 in Murfreesboro. They are listed below.
