WCS Names District Athletic Director

Jeremy Qualls has been named the new District Athletic Director and Physical Education Specialist for Williamson County Schools.

“Mr. Qualls’ leadership skills, education expertise and experience with extracurricular athletics will be an asset to Williamson County Schools,” said WCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney.

Qualls earned his Bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay State University; his Master's in Administration and Supervision from MTSU and an Education Specialist Degree in Administration and Leadership from Freed Hardeman University. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Freed Hardeman University.

After playing basketball at Austin Peay, Qualls began his teaching and coaching career at Northeast High School in Clarksville. He has taught and coached boys’ basketball in both Middle and West Tennessee. He also served as the Athletic Director at Lexington High School.

His administration experience includes work at Milan Elementary School and Lexington High School. For the past four years he has served as Principal of Hickman County Middle School. Qualls began his role with WCS on July 7.
