WCS Names Director of Career & Technical Education

Heritage Elementary School Principal Dr. David Allen has been named the new Williamson County Schools Director of Career and Technical Education. Allen has served as principal of Heritage Elementary since 2011.

Allen began his teaching career in 1995 as an elementary school science teacher. He has served as an elementary school assistant principal, high school assistant principal and high school principal. In 2009, Allen was named Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Mason City Schools in Ohio.

Allen earned his Bachelor's in Education from Ohio University in 1995, his Master's in Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2000, and his Doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership and Human Resources from the University of Cincinnati in 2004.
