School Board Names New Nolensville Schools

The district's three newest schools now have names. The new elementary school will be named Mill Creek Elementary School; the new middle school will be named Mill Creek Middle School; and the new high school will be named Nolensville High School.

All three schools will be located on one campus in the Nolensville area. The design teams for each school are moving forward with the goal of having each ready for bidding in early spring of 2014. All three schools are scheduled for completion in fall 2016.

The process for naming the schools began December 6 when the naming committee began collecting suggestions from the public. The Williamson County School Board voted on names at its February 17 meeting.
