WCS Students Compete at Mini Mu Contest

Published February 7, 2013

Middle School students from across the county participated January 26 in the third annual Mini Mu Math competition. The contest was run by Brentwood High School’s Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society) and sponsor Betty Hood.

Brentwood High School students wrote, proctored and graded the tests and planned the activities for the day. This year’s theme was Mathlympics. Over 220 students took two different math tests at one of three levels (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, or Geometry) related to Olympic events.
