Walnut Grove Book Sale a Success

Walnut Grove Elementary School sold more that $20,000 in books during this year's All-Star Scholastic Book Fair. These books not only help students build their home libraries, but many of them were purchased for teachers and will put grade level books in classroom libraries as well.
The week-long event at Walnut Grove featured a Family Night which included visits from the Grassland Middle School cheerleaders, Franklin High School football players and the Franklin High School volleyball team.
"We are thrilled with such an outpouring of community support for the library at Walnut Grove," said Book Fair Chairperson Jennifer Godwin. "Our students and parents have done so much to help our school!"
