Student Wins Shirt Design Contest

Sixth grader Avery Boes is the winner of Spring Station Middle School's t-shirt design contest. Students at the school were asked to design a t-shirt for this year's Mustang Stampede 5K.

Out of 50 entries, four were chosen for the final round. A panel of judges then selected Avery's design as the winner. Her t-shirt features the school mascot with the words Fear This! written in the school colors. In addition to winning a gift card, Avery will receive the first t-shirt.

The Mustang Stampede 5K is an annual fundraiser for Spring Station Middle School. This year's event will be held Saturday, April 6 at 8 a.m. Participants can register now at www.ssmspto.org.
