Student Art on Display at Coffee Shop

Anyone who visits the Five Points Starbucks in Downtown Franklin in the next few weeks should be sure to check out the artwork hanging on the walls. If they do, they'll notice two pieces by Pearre Creek Elementary School Fifth Graders Lainey Bouvier and Stephanie Hintz.
After studying regionalism in art class, the students created their own regional artwork which depicted scenes from Williamson County. Pearre Creek Art Teacher Katy Lane then made a few calls to see if local businesses would be interested in showcasing some of her students' art.
"The Franklin Starbucks at Five Points was the first to respond," said Lane. "I also heard back from The Factory and the Williamson County Library on Columbia Pike. We may be showing art at both of those places in the near future."
In the meantime, Lainey and Stephanie's art will remain on display at Starbucks through January.
