School Board Approves Five-Year Capital Outlay Plan

The Williamson County Board of Education met in special session September 24 and approved the five year capital outlay plan.

Highlights of the plan include construction of a northeast area high school to open in the fall of 2015, a northeast area K-8 school to open in the fall of 2016 and a Spring Hill area elementary school to open in the fall of 2016.

A number of additions were approved as well including theatre/auditoriums at Fairview and Woodland middle schools to be completed in the winter of 2013, a theatre addition and multi-purpose room remodel at Centennial High for completion in winter of 2014 and a Brentwood Middle remodel and Brentwood High auditorium/theatre/classroom addition/remodel for completion in winter of 2014.

The plan will go before the Williamson County Commission for its approval and for funding of the capital needs.
