The purpose of this section is to answer any questions parents, teachers or community members might have regarding the school district and to set the record straight in regards to any rumors that might be circulating.

I've heard about a proposed new high school in North Williamson County - perhaps near Grassland Elementary and Grassland Middle School. What's the scoop?

According to the district's Five Year Capital Outlay Plan, a request to purchase land for a new middle and high school complex in the northwestern part of the county would come during the 2015-16 school year. At this time, a projected completition date has yet to be determined. In addition, the Five Year Capital Outlay Plan is reviewed annually by both the Board of Education and the County Commission and is subject to change each year.
