New Push Underway to Recruit Students to IT Field

Williamson County Schools is partnering with Williamson County Economic Development and the Nashville Technology Council in an effort to increase student awareness of technology opportunities.

Information Technology remains one of the fastest growing occupations in Williamson County with salaries that are consistently 50 percent higher than typical wages.  There are currently more than 1,000 open technology positions in Middle Tennessee.
