New Partnership to Benefit Student Artists

Published March 7, 2013

Two of the leading student art competitions in the county are joining forces to encourage the arts in Williamson County Schools. The Williamson County Realtor Good Works Foundation and Williamson Medical Center have formed a partnership to combine the Bling and Bowties Art Competition and the Williamson Medical Center Academic Calendar.

The Bling and Bowties event is an annual fundraiser that benefits the Realtor Good Works Foundation. The celebration includes an art competition where students can win cash awards for themselves and their school. This year, the competition will be held in conjunction with the Williamson Medical Center's Academic Calendar, which features high school art from around the county.

By working together and creating a larger student art competition, both organizations hope to bring more recognition to local students and schools. Students may submit their artwork before March 21 to 1646 Westgate Circle, Brentwood, TN 37027 for consideration.

Best in Show and first, second, and third-place winners will be announced at a reception for the winning artists along with the other pieces that are chosen for the academic calendar. The Williamson County Realtor Good Works Foundation will bestow the winning artists and their schools with cash awards. Select this LINK for more information or to fill out a competition entry form.
