Published January 24, 2013

Sunset Middle School Eighth Grader Tejas Manohar has been named the winner of Williamson County Schools fine arts app contest. The contest challenged students to create a smart phone application that will enhance student learning about 100 important works of art.

Manohar's app not only allows students to learn facts about the artwork, but it also tests their knowledge with the help of a quiz mode. He will receive a $500 scholarship for winning the competition. Below are some screen shots of the iPad app Manohar created, which will soon be available to students when they use WCS devices.
