More than 300 new teachers will be joining Williamson County Schools for the 2012-13 school year. The educators participated in New Teacher Induction August 1 and 2 at Franklin High School where they learned about everything from classroom management skills to special education law.
Amanda Jennison-Sousa is new to the teaching profession. She will be teaching at Brentwood High School in the fall and says she's thrilled to be working for the top school district in Tennessee.
"The reputation of the schools is amazing," said Jennison-Sousa. "I'm really excited to be working in a school district that's so progressive in terms of technology and student achievement."
