Hillsboro School celebrated the grand opening of its brand new performing arts center November 8. Principal Kari Miller welcomed guests and thanked those responsible for creating such a wonderful facility. WCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney joined School Board Chairman Pat Anderson, Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and numerous others on stage for the official ribbon cutting.

The celebration also included performances by the Hillsboro Jazz Band and the eighth grade choir. Teachers say they feel blessed to have such an amazing facility where students can showcase their skills and talents.

"We are so excited to finally see our performing arts center become a reality," said Hillsboro Arts Team Leader Elizabeth Pittsley. "Our faculty and students feel privileged to have a world-class auditorium that is filled with light, music and beauty."
