BYOT Reminder for Parents

BYOT or Bring Your Own Technology kicks off in all Williamson County Schools with the start of school next week.
Students in grades 3-12 may bring their device to school if the device is WIFI enabled and has a fully functional web browser. Examples of these devices include tablet computers, laptops and smart phones.
Students are not required to bring a device to school. Students who do not bring a device to school will be able to check out a device from the school for instructional use.
Students must return their signed Acceptable Use, Media Release, and Internet Safety Procedures agreement to school prior to bringing a device to school. A copy of this agreement is posted in the BYOT MANUAL (beginning on page 8). For more information, visit the BYOT WEBSITE.
