Brentwood High School students impressed the judges at last week's Children's Eco-circle Challenge. The school won a $500 cash prize for finishing first in the event, which was part of the annual Living Green Expo in Franklin.
The competition challenges students to come up with an environmental-themed presentation for school-aged children. Judges then choose a winner based on educational value, interactivity and creativity.
Students from Brentwood, Centennial, Franklin and Summit high schools competed in this year's event. Brentwood finished first with their organic farming presentation.
