Fairview High Student to Compete in Air Rifle Championships
Army JROTC Student Ben Gregory will represent Fairview High School in the Army JROTC Air Rifle Championships in February. The competition will be held in Anniston, Alabama, and will feature competitors from schools around the world.
Grassland Middle School Boys Soccer Team Wins County Championship
Congratulations to the Grassland Middle School Boys Varsity Soccer Team for winning the 2012 WMAA Boys Soccer Championship last month.
Grassland Middle Students Earn Recognition at Model UN Conference
Several Grassland Middle School students earned recognition at last month's Model United Nation's Conference.
Grant Hobson, Ethan Hobson and Jonathan Moyers (Canada) received the award for Outstanding Resolution.
Grant Marsh (Uganda) was recognized for Outstanding Delegate.
Jake Bennett, James Robinson and Hayley Welch (Russia) were ranked second in committee along with Sophia Badalian and Grayson Cox (Germany).
Grassland Students Win Schoolwide Math Competition
Last November, Grassland Middle School put on its annual AMC 8 math competition, a schoolwide event meant to promote interest and aptitude in mathematics. More than a dozen students were recognized for their extraordinary performance.

Spring Station Middle School Girls Soccer Team Wins County Championship
The Spring Station Middle School Girls Soccer Team defeated Woodland Middle by a score of 1-0 to win the WMAA Girls Soccer Championship. Olivia Odimegwu scored the winning goal as the Lady Mustangs finished their season with a 11-2-1 record.
Woodland Middle Student Wins Gymnastics State Championships
Seventh grader Jolie Walsh won first place All-Around Gymnast at the Tennessee Sate Championship Gymnastics Competition in Clarksville. Her combined score not only won first place but was a personal best for Jolie.
