WCS Announces New Hires

Assistant Superintendent of Middle and High Schools
Dr. Donna Wright is the district's new Assistant Superintendent of Middle and High Schools. Wright comes to WCS from Knox County where she served as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
Wright had been with Knox County Schools since 1982. She spent eight years teaching at the middle and high school levels and then served as assistant principal and principal of West High School for eight years before joining the district office as Director of High Schools in 1998. She has been an assistant superintendent since 2004.
Wright earned her Bachelor’s in Secondary Education, Master’s in Education Administration and Doctorate in Leadership Studies all from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Supervisor of Adult Education
Dr. Julie Williams has been named Supervisor of Adult Education for the 2012-13 school year. Williams replaces Rhonda Booker who recently became the Coordinator for Career and Technical Education.
Williams comes to Williamson County Schools from Belmont University where she was teaching in the Masters of Art in Teaching (MAT) Program.
Williams has her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Henderson State University and her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Henderson State University. She received her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
Research and Program Development Analyst
Dr. Latarchal Morton has been named Research and Program Development Analyst for the 2012-13 school year.
Morton received her Bachelor of Arts from Fisk University, her Masters of Science from Tennessee State University and her Doctorate of Philosophy from Clark Atlanta University. She completed additional post-doctoral work from Emory University.
Morton comes to Williamson County Schools from Fisk University where she was the Academic Skills Coordinator.
Morton will begin her new role July 23.
Grant Writer
Dr. Deb Enright has been named Grant Writer for Williamson County Schools.
Enright received her Bachelor's degree in political science from Vasser College. She also earned both a Masters in Public Policy and Doctorate in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University.
