WCS Activity Contest Winners

Nearly 3,000 WCS parents, students and staff members made an effort to improve their health by participating in this year's activity contest. The winners were announced last month at the Walk Across Williamson celebration event.

From Williamson County schools, there were a total of 2,979 total participants on 27 different school activity teams. These team members logged 5,969,475 minutes over the course of nine weeks.

Schools earned Coordinated School Health mini-grants to improve health at their schools. Grant amounts differed based on the school’s finish and taking advantage of bonus opportunities. Congratulations to all the participants who gained valuable health benefits by participating.
