Superintendent Evaluation Released

Published January 26, 2012

The Williamson County School Board approved the annual evaluation of Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney at its January 17 meeting.  The results are now posted on the district WEBSITE.

Board members evaluated Looney based on his ability to accomplish seven goals.  Looney scored high marks in the areas of increasing enrollment in Advanced Placement courses, standardizing data collection and enrollment procedures at all schools and efficiently communicating the district's budget process and priorities with parents, staff and community members.

With a 4.0 being the highest grade, Looney scored a 3.0 or higher on all of his goals except for one, which was leading the district to improve the average ACT scores by .25.
