Listed below are the district's Student Spotlight Award winners for the month of June.  Student Spotlight Awards are given to Williamson County students who placed first in state or national competitions.

Boys Soccer Team
BRENTWOOD HIGH

The Brentwood High School Boys Soccer Team won the TSSAA State Championship.  Team members include Daniel Cerrato, Blake Chidester, Matt Churitch, Matt England, Ryan Gill, Connor Grant, Ken Harasawa, Will Jones, Ryan Knapp, Alex Leaman, Peyton McClure, Cole McKechnie, LC McNiel, Austin Petrovich,  Alex Smith, Robert Storrow and Josh Wild. Their coach is Mike Purcell.

Boys Tennis Team
BRENTWOOD HIGH

The Brentwood High Boys Tennis Team earned the TSSAA Boys Tennis Team State Championship. Team members include Maxx Lipman, Alex Howard, Drake Hernandez, Michael Arguello, Evan Borowski and Ryan Satterfield.  Their coach is Andy Veal.

Eric Hoff
BRENTWOOD HIGH

Brentwood High School student Eric Hoff won the TSSAA State Championship in Pole Vault.  His coach is Ronnie Siegenthaler.

Jake Lazas
BRENTWOOD HIGH

Brentwood High School student Jake Lazas won the TSSAA State Championships in Decathlon and Long Jump.  His coach is Ronnie Siegenthaler.

Amber Sudzius
BRENTWOOD HIGH

Brentwood High School student Amber Sudzius won the TSSAA State Championship in discus.  Her coach is Ronnie Siegenthaler.

Emanuel Hall
CENTENNIAL HIGH

Centennial High School student Emanuel Hall won the TSSAA State Championship in High Jump.  His coach is Shawn Carter.

Justin Ma
GRASSLAND MIDDLE

Grassland Middle School student Justin Ma won the Tennessee Foreign Language Teaching Association Poster Contest.  Suzanne Lange is his teacher.

Lizzy Kroeger
INDEPENDENCE HIGH

Independence High School stuent Lizzy Kroeger won the TSSAA State Championship in the 1600 meter race.  Her coach is Luke Finley.

4 X 800 Relay Team
INDEPENDENCE HIGH

Independence High School stuents Ahmad Abed, Kris Howard, Josh Martin and Micah Howard won the TSSAA State Championship in the 4 x 800 Relay.  Their coaches are Luke Finley and Austin Selby.

Girls Tennis Team
RAVENWOOD HIGH

The Ravenwood High School Girls Tennis Team won the TSSAA State Championship.  Team members include Jennifer Arnold, Lauren Caballero, Madison Stankevich, Jacqueline Curtsinger, Vivian Hao, Tinsley Hastings, Elizabeth Stubblefield, Taylor Briggs, Allie Doulin, Iris Hao, Victoria Go, Kelly Rains, Annie Cobb and Rachel Hudson.  Their coach is Matt Lacheta.

Lauren Caballero & Iris Hao
RAVENWOOD HIGH

Ravenwood High School students Lauren Cabalero and Iris Hao won the TSSAA Girls Doubles Tennis State Championship.  Their coach is Matt Lacheta.

Sean Karl
RAVENWOOD HIGH

Ravenwood High School student Sean Karl won the TSSAA Boys Singles Tennis State Championship.  His coach is Matt Lacheta. 

Geoff Nelson
RAVENWOOD HIGH

Ravenwood High School student Geogg Nelson won the TSSAA State Championship in the 400 meter race.  His coach is Peter Mueller. 

Brendan Ni
WOODLAND MIDDLE

Woodland Middle School student Brendan Ni had a perfect score on the Tennessee Mathematics Teacher's Association.  His teacher is Kate Hauck.
