Below are the district's most recent Student Spotlight Award winners for the month of October. Student Spotlight Awards are given to Williamson County students who placed first in state or national competitions.

Sarah Maccaro
Fairview High School student Sarah Maccaro was named the Jobs for America's Graduates and Agcareers.com National Essay Winner. Sara will receive an all-expenses paid trip to attend the JAG National Student Leadership Conference, which will be held in Washington D.C. in November. Her teacher is Vickie Parsons. |

Mitch McCloy
Franklin High School student Mitch McCloy was selected from Boys State to attend Boys Nation in Washington D.C. Only two students from about 600 are selected for this honor. Boys Nation teaches students about the structure and function of federal government. |
