Spring Hill Walking Trail Update

A planned walking trail in Spring Hill is on track to be completed this summer. That's according to Spring Hill Planning Commissioner and Alderman Jonathan Duda. Once completed, the trail would connect Wyngate Estates to Allendale Elementary School.

Duda says a goal of $50,000 in funds raised has been reached. Planners are now awaiting final contract bids to see if any additional funding will be required.

Project Sponsorships include:

City of Spring Hill - $20,000

Waste Management - $10,000

Wyngate Estates Homeowners Association - $5,000

TriStar Health Systems/HCA - $5,000

Williamson Medical Center - $2,500

Spring Hill Rotary - $2,500

Allendale Elementary School PTO - $1,000

$3,000 in individual sponsorships
